I had a plan last year, 2020, to take my youngtimer/vintage car to its’ Central-European birthplace, after having spent almost its’ entire life in the US. The pandemic efficiently stopped that.
This year, I am thinking it is an even better timing, and hopefully such a road trip will be possible in the coming months. My vintage car celebrates its’ 30th anniversary!
So like in the Back to the Future movies, where they juggle 30 years back and forth (and a bit more too), I am thinking of the 1991 car in the present and what is the future of mobility in 30 years time?
My aim is to run a series of interviews and discussions on my podcast and see where this takes me - with automotive experts, entrepreneurs, innovators and more with stops in both young and old automotive/mobility centers.
The second mission is to search for the reimagined Gran Turismo vehicle. I think it is a gap in the present BEV market! Hyper cars, luxury sports cars, SUVs. But the ultimate GT is not there. Travel with speed, travel in style.
NOTE: The video is produced by my 12 year old boy, perhaps all the attention should go his way;). Music by 2XMika.
